Product leadership confirms that VION Food Netherlands continuously renews and improves its products. As a result, VION Food Netherlands is continuously and actively looking for new and improved applications in various fields. The Research and Development  and Product Development departments play an important role in this.

Sustainability means that we fulfil our commitments regarding Corporate Social Responsibility; our business management is based on sustainability. Our production sites seek to use water and energy sparingly and efficiently, and we consider the environmental consequences of what we do. Local initiatives of our plants have created broad support within our organisation.

Animal welfare and food safety are important themes for VION.

VION Food Netherlands understands its social responsibilities as regards the environment and society, consumers, employees and stakeholders. We consider this a pre-condition for production.
As a producer of foodstuffs, VION Food Netherlands is actively committed to several local, regional and national projects. Our main focus is on combating over-nutrition in the Netherlands as well as under-nutrition in other parts of the world.
