VION produces pork and beef to order. Cuts of meat are butchered according tot customer requirements. Known as the ‘primal cuts’, these are processed by our clients (at home and abroad) into end products.

VION Retail Netherlands is an important buyer of these primal cuts in the Netherlands.
VION Retail Netherlands has two production locations in Groenlo and Schijndel that specialise in retail products. They produce and deliver fresh pork and beef products to Dutch supermarkets on a daily basis. VION Retail Netherlands offers its retail clients a complete range of pork and beef products that originate from its own VION business units.

VION has the raw materials for our supermarket range ‘in house’, which makes VION Retail Netherlands independent of third parties. Retailers can therefore be assured that their meat counters are stocked to an optimum level.
