New composition of VION Food Netherlands’ Board of Directors

Today, the VION Food Group announced that it would change the management structure of its food activities in the UK.

This means that Maarten Kusters, currently the director of operations of VION Food Netherlands will, as of 1 March 2012, be responsible for VION Food UK. This also means that he will be stepping down from the Board of Directors of VION Food Netherlands.

The original Board had four members and - after Ties Pronk’s retirement – only three. The company has decided to temporarily not fill these positions.

The Board of Directors will, as of 1 March 2012, have two members:
Peter Beckers, chairman of the Board and also member of the Executive Board of VION NV and Harald van Boxtel.

The tasks and responsibilities will be distributed among the members of the Board of Directors and the senior management of VION Food Netherlands.
